Definition

This comprehensive test evaluates the likelihood of response to immunotherapy by also measuring tumor mutational burden (TMB) in addition to standard somatic molecular profiling. In June 2020, the FDA approved pembrolizumab for advanced solid tumors with TMB-high (≥10 mut/Mb) status, regardless of cancer type.
