Definition

Trisomy 10 (+10) is a rare but recurrent numerical abnormality seen in AML and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS); it is cytogenetically generally assessed in the "intermediate risk" group and is rare as an isolated finding, often occurring together with other complex karyotype abnormalities.
