AdaGen processes, stores and protects all personal data belonging to any natural person it is associated with in compliance with Law No. 89/2007 on the Protection of Personal Data in force in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and its related secondary legislation.
In its capacity as the "Controller" (Data Controller) defined under the law, AdaGen processes your personal data within the framework described below and in compliance with the legislation. The purpose of this notice is, pursuant to Article 13 of Law No. 89/2007 (Duty to Inform), to inform you about the collection methods, processing purposes, legal grounds and your rights regarding your personal data.
1. Methods of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Grounds
Your personal data is collected through written/digital applications made via the AdaGen website, digital requisition and consent forms, e-mail, contact forms, call center and messaging lines, social media channels, printed forms, official institution records, your website browsing activity (cookies) and all other channels through which you contact or may contact AdaGen, and is retained for the statutory periods.
Your personal data may be processed and updated for as long as your legal or commercial relationship with AdaGen continues. Your collected personal data and sensitive data (health data etc.) are processed within the conditions of Law No. 89/2007 regarding the processing of personal and sensitive data and the legitimate legal grounds stipulated by the legislation.
2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your collected personal data is processed orally, in writing or electronically for the purpose of carrying out the health and genetic assessment services offered by AdaGen and fully fulfilling contractual and legal obligations. In this context, your personal data:
- Planning and execution of health, testing, analysis and consultancy services provided by AdaGen,
- Determination and implementation of AdaGen's operational, commercial and business strategies,
- Ensuring the legal, technical and commercial security of AdaGen and of persons in business relations with AdaGen,
- Fulfilment of legal obligations arising from the TRNC Ministry of Health, the Department of Inpatient Treatment Institutions and other relevant TRNC legislation,
- Meeting the demands and requirements of authorized administrative and judicial bodies,
- Establishing contact through directly shared communication channels in order to improve service quality, enhance user experience and conduct market research,
- Management of human resources processes and recruitment of suitable personnel within AdaGen,
- Performance of obligations arising from contracts with business partners, suppliers and customers, conducting financial and legal risk analyses and carrying out financial operations,
are processed in accordance with the TRNC Personal Data Protection Law No. 89/2007.
3. To Whom and for What Purposes Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred
Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, company officials, shareholders, legally authorized public institutions (TRNC Personal Data Protection Authority, Ministry of Health etc.) and private persons within the framework of the data transfer rules specified in Law No. 89/2007, for the purposes of enabling you to benefit from the products and services offered by AdaGen, customizing services according to your usage habits, and ensuring the legal and commercial security of AdaGen and persons in business relations with it.
Your data may be transferred to data processing infrastructures and secure cloud systems with the necessary technical and legal security measures in place, and archived electronically or physically for the retention periods stipulated by the legislation. In the event of transfer of data outside the TRNC, the permit and licensing processes stipulated by the law are followed.
4. Rights of the Data Subject under Law No. 89/2007
Pursuant to the TRNC Personal Data Protection Law No. 89/2007, you have the following rights as the "Data Subject":
- Learning whether your personal data is being processed and the purposes of processing,
- Requesting information about your processed personal data and gaining access to such data,
- Requesting the correction or updating of personal data in case of incomplete or inaccurate processing,
- Requesting the deletion, destruction or suspension of personal data should the reasons requiring their processing under the law cease to exist,
- Objecting to the emergence of a result against you through the processing of data via automated systems,
- Claiming compensation for damages incurred due to unlawful processing of personal data.

You can submit your requests regarding the exercise of your rights under Law No. 89/2007 to AdaGen Sağlık Limited in writing and signed. You can submit your application covering your request:
- You may fill in the Application Form on our website and deliver a wet-signed copy to our company address in person together with identity-verification documents, or send it by post/courier,
- By signing with a secure electronic signature info@adagenlab.com address.
Your request will be concluded by AdaGen free of charge as soon as possible depending on the nature of the request, and no later than 30 (thirty) days.
